RFK is an idiot and suggests boys that get circumcized end up autistic more often (because they are given Tylenol for the inflammation and soreness) - He’s such a fuckin’ joke, brother.

Also kinda feels like an antisemitic dog whistle but I could just be SUPER baked.

Speaking from personal experience, when you grow up with it removed without any apparent negatives and everyone else treats it as normal then it seems perfectly normal. I don’t miss mine because it wasn’t something I ever remembered having, and all but one of the kids in the gym showers were also snipped so it seemed normal. I was lucky enough to have a competent doctor do it as part of the not supported by evidence ‘more sanitary’ trend so no noticeable downsides.

It isn’t that I’m happy that I’m snipped, just that it doesn’t stand out as something negative either. Honestly it was a benefit when dating because most women my age were used to being snipped as the default. When something is normalized, it seems normal.

I am against religious and other circumcisions that are not medically necessary, because it is ethically wrong. Just explaining why someone could see it as normal.
