It’ll run to the top of a really tall tree. Cats can sit idle and wait for a really long time, like a week.
Well, the context is that they’re at a rugby game, so presumably they want to finish the game in a reasonable amount of time.
I struggle to believe that two rugby teams are incapable of corralling a cat off a field, but you have a point.
I’d pay good money to see the cat unleashing chaos.
