Putin’s regime is a couple years close of breaking up. They have no money left, sanctions are crushing them, their industry is dying, costs are rising for the citizens and they lack men on the battlefield. He is desperate to put an end to it.

Dangerous beliefs part of the propaganda that West/Ukraine has been winning all along. Wages are very high in Russia, due to high military pay bonuses, and is massively increasing military production. Russia has enough troops and equipment to be gaining territory every week. Russia moved ahead of Germany and Japan to be 4th largest economy. All of this comes from western reporting.

Just because there is always propaganda about how unconditional surrender of enemy is just mere weeks away, it is suicidal to believe any of it.

I’ve come around after a journalist I trust (real journalist, got his house firebombed and his crew falsely arrested) explained the history of Russia that led up to this. I don’t think NATO troops should be in Ukraine and I don’t think Ukraine should’ve ever been floated as a NATO candidate (as insincerely and manipulatively as it was).

I think both Russia and Ukraine are serving as barriers to peace, in Ukraine’s case mainly because of their stubborn insistence on American involvement in any post-war security arrangement.

Who cares in a few months Russia wont be able to fight because they will have no gas. This is all just a bluff because Putin knows the 3 day war can not be won now unless all other countries cut off supplies.
