    I’m both super happy that it’s still going, and a little sad that it hasn’t become bigger

    I feel like there’s a sweet spot, where something is popular enough to be a thing, but not so popular that the people involved become celebrities too famous to be engaged with as people. I’m writing this from Dragon Con, and if I wanted to I could go find Bil Holbrook at his booth or after one of his panels (which look like they’re held in relatively small conference rooms) and just have a casual chat with him.

    That’s way cooler than how it is with the big celebrities where you line up with a thousand other people, get ushered into a huge ballroom where you see them from afar for half an hour or so, and then get ushered out again while they go out a back door. And then maybe line up again so they can spend ten seconds shoving an autograph at you.

    I think Kevin and Kell is pretty much just the right amount of popular.


    Also, if I had noticed this earlier in the day I totally would’ve walked over to Mart 2 to congratulate him. I might try to do it tomorrow, if he’s still here and I get the chance.
