Much like with Russia and China: While there may or may not be arguments towards the value of a massive power vacuum, no sane person should want a civil war in a country with more nukes than some small nations have people.
what you’re missing here is that the US has led a hidden civil war since its inception. every time they tell the kids to salute to the flag and sit and listen, instead of speaking their mind, they’re indoctrinating children and going against the will of the people, it’s already civil war. this is just another step, but one that brings us closer to an escape.
