I don’t want to be blocked or ignored, just have one post with a few hundred downvotes to see what the level is like on Lemmy. Also, I don’t mean it in the sense of the famous reddit test post that said it should not be upvoted. I mean, I want to know how to construct a post, and where to put it, that will get it downvoted hard. I don’t think asklemmy will work. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Post about how Windows isn’t that bad in any Linux community.
Post about how any popular AAA title isn’t that bad in any gaming community.
Post about how capitalism isn’t that bad in any lemmy.ml community.
The problem with .ml shitposting is that it will almost immediately get removed. If it does start to propagate around to other instances, people will immediately recognize it as a troll post and it will get upvoted.
Trolling ml takes finesse and it’s the IRL epitome of “opposite day” over there.
Yeah, I think the first one is the most likely path.
I don’t post actual threads, but my most downvoted comment was this one that I’m quite proud of:
So yeah, I’d recommend OP baits linuxmemes. I think it has more users, more touchy, less sense of humour. But you’re also less likely to get your post banned in a memes forum.
Thank you. I’ll put that on my agenda. Any suggestions for where to put a post about how the sales of AAA games for Windows is evidence of the superiority of capitalism?
Why can’t I upvote and downvote this comment
Two of them will get your post removed and permabanned, one is worth a try but just have to pick the right game
GolemScratch that. Just say Last of Us 2 is either the best game ever or the worst game ever.
Or saying Breath of the Wild/mario odyssey is horrible and listing nitpicks
Oh, I’ve done the first one, it was great fun.
