“So many people too cure”

“To many people too cure” Got it.
This is a plot point in the web novels “Worm”. One of the characters can heal any injury or disease with a touch, but it takes a lot of effort. They initially tried to endlessly cure the sick, but it basically destroyed them physically and emotionally.
The above is an absolutely stunning “book.” Maybe one of the best sci-fi books I’ve ever read, but beware. It’s basically a trilogy, and a real page turner.
I listened to the audiobook last year. It was amazing. Best superhero stories I have experienced. Better than marvel or dc imo. But what do you mean trilogy? Worm is 7000 pages long. Which is like 15 books. Then there is sequel “Ward” which has 9000 pages. I didnt read this one yet. I heard it isn’t as good as the first one. Maybe when I will have more time. As far as I know there isn’t anything after Ward.
There are 2 audiobooks for Worm. One is older, fan made. Where every chapter is narrated by diffrent person, mostly guys I think. I didn’t listen to this one. I like consistency. Second is new. Fanmade too. Finished last year. Narrated by a woman, which fits better when main character is a woman too. Only interludes are by diffrent narrators. This one is very good. The narrator isnt perfect, but better than some professionals I listened to. It is 170 h long. I finished it in less than 3 weeks.

Hey, I just went through my old saved comments and stumbled across yours. Do you know if there is a way to download the entire Worm audiobook from the page you linked without having to click each individual download button? I typically use audiobookshelf for my listening so I would need to download everything first :/
I did that. It was even bigger pain in the ass than I thought because the files are not alphabetically named. So when one file downloaded, I needed to rename it and add number before it. Didn’t want them to mix up. For each, file it was such a chore.
Because this is a fan-made project, each file has at the start and at the end ads for patreon, reddit and stuff like that. So I used some kind of mp3 trimmer to cut all of them automatically. It was not perfect but passable.
I might still have the files on some external hard drive, so if you give me some cloud shared folder or something I can upload it to you. I only know about free MEGA, but they have like 5 gigabytes limits and the book is like 11, If remember correctly.
Or alternatively, as I mentioned in the original post, you can use some podcast app like AntennaPod and listen there.
Actually ignore my previous reply. I just noticed that google drive has 15GiB of free storage instead of 5 like I thought. I sent you a link via PM to a shared folder in my google drive where you can upload it if you are still offering.
Thanks for the offer. Unfortunately I don’t know any free cloud upload services that support that much data. I tried creating a file upload link for my synology NAS but based on the given URL that one would only work if you were in my local network and I don’t believe there is a way to share that without exposing the entire NAS to the internet.
Source is “Um sábado qualquer” by Carlos Ruas. Can’t find that specific comic, tho
I hate when they butcher the comic to remove the citation/signature.
