So here’s what happened recently:

• I opened the Google News widget on my Android phone, saw a Sponsored link, and found it interesting
• Clicked on it, the link opened in Chrome, opening the googleadservices redirection thingummy
• Took over 5 seconds to process the redirect
• I exited the browser

Guess who missed ad money?

But of course, maybe they got the ad money and the only losers were:

• me, who didn’t get to see the website that might actually have had something I wanted
• the website owner, who not only didn’t get my business but also had to pay Google, because Google most probably processed the ad first and didn’t care to process the redirect

I feel like I understand why they removed the “Do no evil” sign. Because now, they are messing with both, the product and the customers, only providing as much as is required to take their money, instead of the full, advertised service.

But that “Peter” guy told me to “eat veggies” when I asked him how he managed to easily and acrobatically evade that incoming high speed vehicle! Why didn’t he tell me to “eat meat” instead?

I don’t eat meat (mostly a taste thing), but I’d definitely gift it to a nearby chap doing a bbq after the smack.

What makes stuff like the [X] button on the corner and Alt+F4 intuitive?
Multiple years of having used MS Windows and similar looking software as a student.

They got the marketing part right here, at least.

But if we are being inclusive, nothing really is intuitive.

I have seen BTech graduates struggle with installing software using the Wizard that is so omnipresent on Windows, so I don’t expect anything to be intuitive at this point.

1. You may seem to get slimmer after a long session of sweating, which is just you losing water. That will come back a while after you drink water, so don’t consider that.
2. Cardio is useful too and depending upon your current condition, might make a big difference in QoL or just a small one. You might want to talk in detail about it with someone knowledgable and decide your pacing.

• As far as duration goes, do it at least until you start getting the feeling that breathing is not giving you enough power anymore. Less than that point and you will not be getting better (this would be in terms of performance and not in terms of slimming); More than that and you risk falling (and I don’t like falling, so that’s the tip I use) due to dizziness.

As long as you are feeling better, I’d say, don’t really worry about visual results. As the main result that comes, is becoming more able to do what you want with your body.

My weightloss happened when I was a kid and I’d say, it was around a year after I noticed the change. But my memories related to it are more of, eating low quality food (which was also more expensive) and having multiple ailments, so not much of a +ive.

They probably want to know how they got the nutrients to create the snot.
