    Then how do you explain 2016 and 2020 when barely anyone voted for Bernie? He was on the ballot. Primaries typically have 5-10% turn out.

      Did anyone vote for anyone else? my understanding is american primaries (and everything except the presidential election) are more or less ignored.

        Which is the problem. All people, including leftist, bitch and moan about everything in politics and then most collectively decide not to vote.
