Hours later when the president just comes right out, and claims this assassination was due to stochastic terrorism fueled by nonstop vitriol by the “left” against the right.

“He was a martyr for free speech.” And since the free speech of the left is what we’re going with as causing his death, we have no choice but to now take away their free speech.

    That happened?

Man, it must really have pissed off the Russians that we didn’t take the bait. As if working at the Internet Research Agency wasn’t a shitty enough job already.

Why do you jump to Russia? Not saying it wasn’t Russia, but it seems like anyone can hire bot farms from just about anywhere.

It didn’t really matter if we took the bait or not. They planted their narrative.

Whenever shit’s being stirred, Russia’s my default guess. As a general strategy, it tends to maximize the odds of being right.

It’s always hard to know what’s real and what’s kayfabe, but it does seem like Putin and Trump haven’t been as lovey dovey as usual.

It could have been Russia, or it could have been just DOGE bro trolls hired in the U.S. or abroad in other countries we’re not allowed to criticize.

            There’s a difference?

I mean there’s a very good chance General Big Balls et al., have worked on various projects while teaming up with Russia, but the DOGE crew is their own faction within the bigger coup to overthrow democracy in their own country.

Like there are random tiny DOGE task forces scattered across the U.S. who get paid to just do completely random things that promote the agenda. I really doubt the guy that was leading the Hamilton county DOGE taskforce in TN ever had much contact with officials outside of his home state.

I wouldn’t know about Mr. Shriveled Scrotum’s endeavors. I was thinking more about their boss. But sure, it’s more a circumstantial alignment of aims - a stand alone complex, if you will - than a formal working relationship.

                Edit: Well… Probably.

I can’t say “it didn’t happen” all I can say is “I didn’t see it” and man, we EXPECTED it.
