Always has been. Reaganomics convinced a struggling class they were temporarily embarrassed millionaires and if they just always voted republican the
pisswealth of the rich would flow into their mouths. History goes even farther back than that, but the point standsWhat we need to combat, is that very idea that they’re just temporarily embarassed billionnaires. Nobody becomes that rich out of nil. You either are born into a rich family or marry into it. And since billionnaires don’t marry poor people (rather, other high profile billionnaires or multimillionnaires), there’s no real chance ever of marrying one.
We need to dumb down left wing politics to “eat the bad rich and let’s make you rich”.
